Summer Intern

Job Overview

We’re looking for a driven individual who is passionate about serving others and furthering the Kingdom of God. This Summer Internship will have a focus on youth and worship ministries. Key responsibilities will include working with Pastor Raj on Youth and Young Adults events, as well as being available to serve on our worship and production teams as needed. We are looking for someone who works well with others, is willing to learn, and shows flexibility and desire to serve in a variety of ministries as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma

• Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Must be a Christian and have experience serving in a church community

• Drivers License & Vehicle (not required, but would be a bonus!)

• Experience with Youth and Children’s Ministry

• Experience on a Worship Team, either singing or playing an instrument

• **Criminal Record Check will be required upon hiring**

Key Responsibilities

• Attending and assisting with Youth and Young Adults events

• Event Planning & Execution

• Attending Friday night worship practice when scheduled and Sunday Morning rehearsals.

• Travelling to Logan Lake on a weekly basis to assist with Campus needs

• Sunday service planning, set-up and various ministry assistance

• Assisting with Children’s Ministry and Summer Sports VBS

• May include administrative duties, building and yard maintenance, deep cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks.

• 35 hours/week

• Hourly Wage: $19.40
