OASIS CHURCH CAMPUS PASTOR

Toward the end of 2023 Oasis Church began to envision where the Lord was calling us to move into as we saw multiple years of church health and steady growth. We’ve prayed that the Lord would empower us to bring the Gospel of Jesus so that more lives could experience transformation both in Kamloops and the surrounding communities.

As the months progressed we entered into conversation with a local PAOC church in Logan Lake who carries the same desire and devotion to impact community for Jesus. This lead us to agree on a multi-site partnership where Oasis Church and Church on the Hill become one.

As of September 15, 2024 Oasis Church and Church on the Hill will be merged, and our campus in Logan Lake will be known as Oasis Church on the Hill. It all circles back to having a common vision and mission.

JESUS SAID, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest.” (Matt. 9:37-38)

 At Oasis Church we believe THERE’S ALWAYS MORE we can do together to reach those who don’t have a personal relationship with the Father through the saving work of Jesus Christ. Everything we aspire to accomplish as a church flows in alignment with the Father’s heart to redeem humanity to Himself.

We know that our reason for existence as a church is to:

INSPIRE FAITH (“Go therefore and make disciples…” - Matt. 28:19-20 and “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” - Rom. 10:17);

INVEST IN PEOPLE (“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly…” - 1 Peter 4:8-11 and “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works...” - Hebrews 10:24-25);

ILLUMINATE HOPE (“You are the light of the world…let your light shine...” - Matt. 5:14-16 and “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses...” - Acts 1:8)
